This volunteer opportunity will help to meet and greet people coming into the Community Care building. Assist with Covid Declarations and Sign Ins and guiding patrons to requested areas - Allied Health, Physio, Meetings etc. The prevention of the transmission of COVID-19 into our Community care facility is of paramount importance.

This role is crucial to the social and physical well-being of our senior clients by assisting them and their families to connect with their respective appointments and maintaining a high standard of preventative measures. We welcome volunteers who are confident, empathetic and patient in interacting with a diverse range of people and those looking to make a meaningful difference by keeping our senior community safe and connected.

Blue Care Community is abuzz with Activities and clients. No 2 days are the same with different groups happening throughout the week. From staff orientations, training and Allied Health appointments for clients your day will be full assisting the admin team with the meet and greet of clients and assisting with signing in.

Tasks involved include: ▪ Interacting with visitors ▪ Asking entry criteria questions ▪ Promoting good hand hygiene ▪ Maintaining the visitor register ▪ Guiding clients to respective areas
