Diverse Communities and Social Services (DCSS Australia) is a National Not-for-Profit Community Justice and Social Services Charity Organisation throughout Australia, which is a Public Benevolent ACNC Charity Institution. DCSS Australia is the leading National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous), LGBTIQA, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Diversity and Inclusion focused organisation which delivers the Not-for-Profit Community Justice and Social Services Program operating across Australia.

We are looking for organised individuals who have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to form productive working relationships with a wide range of employees. As the People & Culture Officer, you will be required to provide a minimum 6 months commitment, consisting 10 hours per fortnight. People & Culture Officers are responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, in addition to contributing to the development and review of HR policies, and analysing data metrics.

Tasks and duties: • Supporting the HR team with end-to-end recruitment including hiring, inducting and on-boarding new staff in a timely manner. • Assisting staff with employment-related matters including leave management and interpretation of enterprise agreements, awards and conditions of employment. • Providing HR advice in employee relations and performance management matters.
