Meals on Wheels SA provides support to members of the community to live independently.

Our support enhances lifestyles through: The delivery of fabulously fresh, seasonal dishes packed full of flavour that is both nutritious and delicious to maintain health and wellbeing; offering regular social contact; and recognising, responding and building people’s capacity to meet nutritional and other needs that increase wellbeing. In providing these services through our volunteer workforce, we strengthen communities.

Tasks/Responsibilities include;

-Reconcile meal numbers -Process Driver payments -Authorise and submit invoices for payment by Central Office

Skills/Requirements;

-Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel) -Attention to detail -Preparedness to learn new computer applications -Previous experience in book-keeping, accounts or administration preferable -Effective communication skills -Adhere to MoWSA volunteer policies and procedures

Minimum 12 month commitment required. Meals On Wheels are authorised to conduct Crimtrac Police Checks for our volunteers if required. Evidence of Covid Vaccination status is mandatory.
