At Costa House Residential Aged Care, our leisure and Lifestyle team is dedicated to curating enjoyable and interactive experiences for our residents!

The role:

Volunteers will help to engage our residents in several fun and enjoyable activities! Some of the activities you could be involved in include:

• Assisting with art and craft sessions
• Supporting Bingo sessions (A resident favourite)!
• Conducting newspaper readings, where the residents discuss current affairs

OR

• Do you have a musical talent? Come and play for our residents!

We’ll match your interests, skills and experience to one of these activities, so we can make it count for you and the community at Costa House!

For you:

• Make a lasting impact in the lives of older people.
• Meet new people and grow your connection to your community.
• Receive ongoing support and training throughout your journey, including a fully funded NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Feel welcomed into genU’s friendly and inclusive workplace.

About you:

• Have excellent conversation and listening skills.
• Hold empathy and compassion about the wellbeing of older people.
• A passion for giving back to your community.

Time Commitment:

Our team have activities running all day everyday and will work with your availabilities to volunteer.

So basically… volunteer when you’re free Mon-Fri 9am-5pm!
