When assisting with cots it’s important to identify the model and source the manual, check for any damage and identify if all hardware components are present using the manual. You may need sand and paint or wipe down/clean in preparation for a family. We also safety check all bassinets through a helpful safety checklist/form. You may be involved in only parts of the process in preparing cots for families or you might be interested in learning the whole process.

Do you just have the ability to work out how a pram opens and closes without having to look on YouTube? A ‘pram prepper’ will clean and fix, if required, and complete a detailed but easy to follow safety checking process.
