Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them live a happy and healthy life. The programs assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever 'living life to the fullest' looks like for them, we support them to make it happen.

Bruce is an outgoing and affable gentleman, who recently discovered he has Aboriginal ancestry, but is unsure how to learn more about this. He is also keen to connect with someone regularly for friendly chats and a game of cards. Bruce would love a volunteer to visit him for some company and to help him explore his family history.

As a valued member of the social support team, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, the chance to meet new people and develop new skills, the support of a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey.
