Eastern Volunteers Community Transport program provides support to vulnerable and isolated members of the community in a number of ways. Our core service involves helping individuals remain engaged with the community, stay in their homes for longer and live better. We also partner with a number of organisations to deliver services to vulnerable members of the community when required.

We require a number of volunteers to help us deliver our services safely, efficiently and reliably. As a client support volunteer you would be responsible for:

• Contacting clients to confirm their transport appointment
• Contacting clients to ensure covid-safe procedures are followed
• Scanning and Verification of Manifests (Daily Run-Sheets)
• Contacting volunteer drivers to confirm their schedule
• General admin/office support work as required
• Ongoing training and support are provided, as well as other volunteer opportunities for those who are interested!

Requirements:

• Clear communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A mobile phone with unlimited calls (ideally)
• Available for 4 Hours per week (we are flexible with hours however!)
• Happy to attend training sessions as required.
