EARSS Homelessness Team Member - Bunbury

The Homelessness Team Member (Program/Focus) works alongside other Homelessness Team volunteers including a Team leader to engage homeless people and those at risk of homelessness to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Teamwork and referrals
Identify, respond and support vulnerable individuals Work collaboratively within a team to achieve best response outcomes for people requiring assistance
Take direction from EARSS Bunbury Team Leader and Support staff Accurately record assists and referrals Effectively respond to Emergencies
Accurately record any incidents as directed by from EARSS Bunbury Team Leader and Support staff Make contact with Police/emergency services in a timely manner Complete incident form for from EARSS Bunbury Team Leader and Support staff Stakeholders & Partnerships
Work in partnership with all Stakeholders, including Police and emergency services, to assist vulnerable people who have been referred for assistance Provide the necessary information and support required Transport
May accompany staff to transport clients General Duties
Meet and Greet individuals, families accessing the service Preparing meals and drinks Help maintain a clean work environment Displaying respect to all people involved with service Demonstrate effective communication skills Maintain strict confidentiality in alignment with staff Maintain appropriate boundaries Access appropriate supports if required
