Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest” looks like for them, we support them to make it happen.

Diana* is a friendly lady who loves chatting with people. She'd enjoy the support of a volunteer who is friendly, chatty, understanding and patient. She enjoys knitting, spending time on her IPad emailing, talking to family and friends, watching YouTube, and playing games. In future she would welcome the opportunity to go out with the volunteer to visit local shops and have a latte at a local café. We're looking for a kind and patient person who has access to a car for community outings. The car must be able to accommodate a walker if necessary.

As a valued member of the social support team, you will have access to. ongoing training and development opportunities, the chance to meet new people and develop new skills, the support of a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey.
