Bangka Strait - Activities Program Support
ACH GroupLocated at the Repatriation (Repat) General Hospital site, Daw Park, the Bangka Strait Program is a joint initiative between the SA Department of Health and ACH Group. Bangka Strait is named in memory of the Australian Army Nurses who lost their lives at Bangka Strait Island in Indonesia during World War II.
Role Description - Assist Bangka Strait Lifestyle staff to provide a fun & diverse range of social, art and entertainment activities to Residents, including:

assisting with setting up for group activities & morning/afternoon teas

assisting with running group activities - art, music, board games, social get togethers

accompany Residents to and from activities programs

Visiting & talking to Residents to enable regular social contact & interaction during their stay

Department of Human Services Vulnerable Groups Clearance

Current Flu Vaccination

Completion of COVID-19 Volunteer Training Course
