Looking for people who are empathetic to our vulnerable cohort and find value in sharing those special moments and bringing a smile to their day. Volunteers are required to meet entry requirements for our facility and undertake mandatory training as specified by the organisation.

The Cafe Support Guru will focus on supporting the operations of the cafe on a week day and weekend for our residents, visitors and staff. This role will include barista operations ( full Training provided) and light food preparation and service. Our cafe area sits in pride of place in our residential facility, so its attractive & clean appearance is an important part of the 'house duties'. Some of our special customers may need to have room service with a cuppa and and cake. The Cafe is the place to hold some great special events with our Guru's playing an important part in their success. Full training will be provided for all aspects of Barista machine use and food preparation as well as manual handling for safe practices, infection control and Fire and Safety awareness.
