About CaringKids CaringKids is a registered charity dedicated to providing practical support for young carers aged 18 years or less providing care for a family member living with a disability or chronic illness. Founded in 2014, CaringKids provides Toy Boxes to young carers Australia-wide, containing toys, books, puzzles, games, arts and craft materials, stationery, sports equipment and books.

About this role This role will assist with picking up toy donations from the public and organisations within Metropolitan Sydney, including toy donation bins located in the Eastern Suburbs. It also includes collecting and delivering Toy Boxes from the Toy Workshop in Banksmeadow to the courier in Mascot. It requires manual handling, lifting and carrying of the donations and toy boxes, as well as loading and unloading the car.

Key Responsibilities ● Liaising with the CEO and toy workshop coordinator regarding toy donation and toy box pickups ● Contacting the person(s) or organisation to arrange toy pickups ● Collecting toy donations and taking them to the Toy Workshop or storeroom and moving donations between storage and toy workshop ● Collecting toy boxes from the Toy Workshop and dropping them off at the courier in Mascot ● This Position Description is not exhaustive and may change from time to time.
