An Italian-speaking volunteer is required to provide assistance in the Linlithgow Centre based social activity group in Ivanhoe. The Centre offers consumers with an opportunity to participate in social activities including outings, craft and light exercise. Activities are based on the expressed interests of participants, including a nutritious meal as well as excursions.

You'll need a willingness to work flexibly to undertake tasks associated with the day to day operation of the Centre. These tasks may include support in transportation process of consumers, the facilitation of social activities as well as providing assistance in the kitchen to prepare meals provided to participants.

The role seeks an outgoing, enthusiastic applicant with a ‘can do’ attitude. The applicant will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well the confidence to work independently. You'll need to be available weekly on Thursday from 9am - 3 pm, be an effective communicator and have an ability to create a positive interaction with the participants attending the Centre.
