Connected Inc is a not-for-profit charity that operates as "one of Brisbane's biggest and best OP-Shops", we are located at Virginia, North Brisbane. Our warehouse is attached to the back of our OP-shop, you would be responsible for receiving donated items and overseeing the packaging of donated items into our crates for storage until ready for processing. You will work with several warehouse assistants who will assist you in ensuring the smooth operation of our "back of shop" warehouse. You will assist in placing nominated donated items onto shop floor, and the removal of nominated items that have been sold and are awaiting collection. Connected Inc has a Mitsubishi Canter Pantec truck that is used for delivery of sold items (predominately furniture) and disposal of unusable items at Brisbane Refuse Centre. Only a valid normal drivers license is required. You will also utilise our reach stacker to move our crates around our warehouse (no licenses required to operate machinery). In our back of shop area you will also work with other volunteers and Centrelink recipients.
