We are looking for kind, committed and positive people. to join our team of 1:1 social support volunteers. This program is designed to support older people to reengage and reconnect with their community and to the things they love to do.

Tracey is an easy going and happy person, with a great sense of humour. She enjoys gardening, sewing, oil painting, listening to music and watching TV. Tracey would prefer a mature female volunteer who has similar interests and would love to share stories over a cuppa, head out for a walk or a drive to a local café.

Ideally you will be available once per week on any weekday, have a valid license and access to a car. To be successful in this role you will use your communication skills to provide companionship, and support Tracey*. You will also have the confidence to work independently.

As a valued member of the Social Support team you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey.
