Case Administrator
Mange Management Inc.As Case Administrator, you will play a pivotal role between the public reporting a case and a wombat receiving the treatment it needs to survive. Reliability and commitment are essential.
Ability to commit to a one or more days per week is required.
****A resident of Victoria is preferred.****
Key Duties:
- Be available to respond to new reports received by phone or email.
- Respond to new reports in a timely manner.
- Listen and gather information to ascertain the condition of the wombat.
- Assess and provide information and advice to the reporter.
- Seek further knowledge and advice from co-volunteers if required.
- Record the new case in the database.
- Follow up cases in the database.
Skills and experience:

At ease handling a high proportion of email or phone-related communication.

Ability to listen and engage with members of the public, other organisations, and co-volunteers.

Desired: Experience with Wildlife Rescue, call centre, database input.
Required: Phone and internet connection, email, and basic computer skills.
The problem of mange in wombats is widespread, and the full effect of its devastation is yet to be measured. Along with loss of habitat and roadkill, wombats are facing great challenges. As a volunteer, you will be making a difference to the survival of individual wombats and the greater wombat population.
