Volunteer mini-van driver with HammondCare aged care home Caulfield

With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, elderly residents living with dementia will enjoy short outings as you drive them on short local trips for around 2 hours. You will be accompanied by one of our care staff who will look after the residents care needs, we will ask you to help the residents on and off the mini van along side the care staff.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia and aged care. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents. HammondCare Caufield is located at 294 Kooyong Road, Caulfield.

We'll provide training, including dementia training, and ongoing support from an onsite Volunteer Coordinator. Successful applicants will be required to show proof of your current C class drivers license, complete a criminal record check as well as a NDIS Worker Screening Check. You'll need to provide evidence of your Covid19 vaccination, and annual flu vaccinations.
