An ongoing opportunity for a volunteer to ensure those who experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or are socially isolated are supported.

Rosies is seeking volunteers to assist with vehicle fuelling, cleaning and maintenance at our local branch in Toowoomba. Reporting to our Senior Operational Support volunteer, this role is a fortnightly opportunity on a Monday or Tuesday between 9am and 3pm (up to 4 hours at a time convenient to you). You will regularly participate in:

• Fuelling vehicles
• Cleaning trailer and two vans
• Restocking vans (if required)
• Driving vehicle(s) for maintenance work and/or compliance checks, including annual TMR compliance checks and 6-monthly fire extinguisher serving
• Other duties as required from time to time

To fulfil this role, it is essential to have:

• Open drivers licence
• Sound interpersonal skills
• Heavy lifting may be required
• Ability to get in and out of high vehicle
