As well as sharing social activities or going outside together, Darren’s new friend would be well placed to ensure that Darren is okay with everything happening in his life, including his service providers and NDIS plan.

Citizen Advocacy is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services. Our aim is to provide additional support to vulnerable people with an intellectual disability by matching them with a caring member of the community who becomes their friend and advocate.
