The role may be as simple as a providing a cup of tea or washing some dishes, or giving carers some much needed 'me' time whilst providing compassionate and sensitive emotional support to their dying loved one. Most importantly, this volunteer role is one designed to support people with a life-limiting illness to stay at home longer and ease the burden on carers.
