Governance Mentor
Pasifika TOA - VWVolunteer West is advertising this position on behalf of Pasifika TOA.
We are a CALD, community driven, youth-focused Not for Profit organisation; led by lived experienced youth engagement specialists. We are loking for a volunteer with experience in the governance of Not-For-Profit Community groups who would be able to offer us advice and recommend resources about all aspects of governance, policies and procedures.
Volunteers with a disability are welcome to apply; we are happy to talk with you about your needs!
Your tasks will involve:
- Providing advice and basic training to our staff about Legal structures, policies and procedures
- Providing advice and access to resources to help us scale up
- Providing advice and access to resources about applying for grants
We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience with governance of community groups
- Is looking to give back, and help a small community organisation achieve its aims.
