Membership: purchases
Merchandise: purchases
Anthology: purchases and reviews
Annual conference: bookings
Public awareness: mass media, social media

• Develop a marketing strategy that addresses online, print, signage, and mass media • Build a contact database • Create press releases • Monthly Report to the Committee (and more frequently on an informal basis) on actions and results, ideally attending the Zoom Committee meeting.

We need someone who already has promotional and marketing skills.

Time required

Initially, while establishing the contact database and marketing strategy: probably 3-4 hours per week In the months leading up to the conference: probably 3-4 hours per week. The conference is usually in June but the next one will be in October 2022. For most of the year: probably 4-6 hours every 4 weeks.

Requirements

Background in marketing or promotions – • Either training • Or experience, either professional or as a volunteer.
