Volunteers are an integral part of the Banksia Palliative Care Service (Banksia) team. They aid in the delivery of quality, individualised, holistic care and support of the client and their carers.

Our Client & Carer Support Volunteers visit clients, their carers and/or their family in their location of choice - often their home. This can include private residences, age care facilities, supported care facilities and anything in between. Our Volunteers provide direct support for clients, carers and families as part of our multi-disciplinary team, enabling companionship for our clients and respite for carers.

Please note: It is a requirement to attend an Information Session before an application can be considered.
