Inclusion Melbourne's Leisure Buddy program aims at matching adults with disabilities with volunteers who live close by and have shared mutual interests. Have you got a spare hour or two per fortnight? Are you friendly and reliable?

Lily is in her late 40’s with an intellectual disability who lives in Kew. Lily enjoys music, shopping and is involved in a theatre group. She has a great sense of humour and is very social. She would love a Leisure Buddy to take her out on fortnightly outings for 2-3 hours on weekends.

Inclusion Melbourne believes that people with a disability should be able to live in an inclusive community, supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have the same opportunities to participate in community life

Reliability and a willingness to commit to very regular contact for a minimum of 12 months is a requirement.
