We require assistance once a week on every second Wednesday from approximately 9.30am – 11.30pm, although please be aware that the times are subject to change from month to month.

Own car required and fuel costs will be reimbursed.

As the donations tend to be large, a medium to large sized car would be ideal.

Please be aware that a reasonable level of physical fitness is required for the loading and unloading.

You would be attending the donation warehouse with one of our long-term lead volunteers (who would be taking their own vehicle).

Tasks include:

•Punctual arrival to the food donation collection site on the agreed-upon days and times •Patient and effective communication with the representatives from our partnering organisations at the food donation collection sites •Loading of donations into the car of the volunteer, direct delivery of these donations to Reynard Street Neighbourhood House •Unloading of donations into fridges, freezers and cupboards, as directed by RSNH staff •Ongoing communication with the House Manager and any other RSNH staff as required •Timely submission of reimbursement receipts (for fuel costs)
