Health & Wellness Volunteer (Community)

ACH Group

Health & Wellness Volunteers assist staff with:

Set up and pack down for group sessions - assist to move light chairs/small equipment
Greet & welcome Customers attending sessions
Support Customers with COVID entry requirements - QR scans, temperature checks & safety questions
Support Customers to access sessions through technology- sign in i-pads
Engage with Customers- make conversation, encourage & help to motivate them
Assist with wiping down/cleaning equipment after sessions if required

Health & Wellness Volunteers usually work between 2- 3 hours per week/fortnight

Requirements:

National Police Certificate
Annual Flu Vaccination
COVID-19 Vaccination preferred
Friendly & respectful nature
Good communicator
Reliable
Able to work in a team
Computer knowledge & use
Interest in health & fitness
Interest in the well-being of older people
