Duties:

1. Assist in set up and pack up of materials and equipment as required
2. Assist students with assigned gardening tasks 3.Encouragement of students at all times
3. Work one on one with students as required
4. Perform duties as directed by staff
5. Follow workplace safety guidelines as directed
6. Assist the program tutor during outings and excursions

Skills Required:

• Sensitive to needs of people with disabilities and special needs
• Some knowledge of or an appreciation of gardening
• Able to perform limited, light manual tasks
• Ability to communicate in a positive and encouraging way
• General level of fitness to perform physical gardening duties
