SisterWorks is a partner of UN Women to deliver the UN Women’ Second ChanceEducation pilot project in Australia. SisterWorks provides training programs to the most vulnerable women with little English of Refugee and migrant backgrounds. As a Food Safety Teacher, you will be working with 1 other teacher to deliver the food safety content of our 8-week Cooking and Nutrition Programme. The programme is designed to teach our sisters the content and knowledge needed to sit the Food Handlers VIC Level 1 exam.

As part of this role, you will:

• Welcome Sister Entrepreneurs, encouraging them to know each other and ensuring they have a positive experience during the training
• Create an engaging and interactive learning environment that our sisters can get really get involved in
• Use available SisterWorks tools, such as learning guide, teaching guides and videos to deliver classes that focus on: food safety food safety hazards Keeping foods safe cross-contamination personal health
• Support the students in their learning and exam process
