Anti-Social Rescued Cat - Behavioural Therapist (through Foster Care)

Alley Katz Australia Org.

Street cats are commonly aggressive and anti-social. Our no-kill, no-euthanasia policy ensures each cat we rescue is given the behavioural support for a positive social experience. Cats of this kind are usually regarded as, "not safe to rehome" and may be euthanised by council pounds. Work with our team to give these cats a chance at living with people in a harmonious relationship. Many are just responding naturally to their surroundings and often are quite friendly once trust is built with their human foster care. Contact time with the cat may be over several weeks or months. Cat's with anti social behaviour may scare you; an experienced handler has hardened to these kind of behaviours.

If you don't have the required experience level, it's probably not a good idea to volunteer for this role.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
