Stryder Inc is a for-purpose organisation, registered as an incorporated association, enabling transport disadvantaged people to live independently, access their community and lead satisfying and well-balanced lives in Ryde, Hunters Hill and beyond.

We’re ‘Going places’ – a new branding, a new model and new approaches to expanding our services to the people we support will also enable us to reach out to new clients. As a mover and shaker in community transport we aim to become a primary transport provider in response to the changing market conditions and opportunities.

The Committee Members we are seeking to appoint will have: • Personal integrity and a commitment to social good and inclusion • A commercial flair and vision for growth opportunities • Commitment to the values by which Stryder operates and its ongoing success • Proven leadership skills and the ability to think constructively and innovatively • Effective teaming qualities, with excellent listening and communication skills and • An appetite for change

About the Organisation With 35 years of service as a Community Transport Provider, we’ve rebranded as Stryder (previously Ryde Hunters Hill Community Transport) and our vision is to grow our services in Ryde, Hunters Hill and beyond.

Our purpose is to enable people to live independently, access their community and lead satisfying and well-balanced lives.

With a dedicated team of employees and volunteers, and a high quality fleet of modern vehicles, we provide a range of connective services to those most in need. On average we traverse approx. 230,000 kms per year and provide 35,000 trips.

Whether it’s for routine, medical and social trips or going to a special event, we can cater to everyone. And now, the wider community can also support those most in need by hiring our buses when they are not in use for our core business day-to-day trips as we grow our business.

We’re excited about this bold new phase of growth and development for Stryder, which is underpinned by robust governance, processes and procedures. If you are keen and able to help maintain this momentum, we’d like to hear from you.

Selection Criteria • Strong commitment to improving the independent lives of individuals in our community and beyond • Sound Corporate governance experience • Strong marketing & sales experience (at least 1 prospective Member) • NDIS experience & networks (at least 1 prospective Member) • Aged Care or Community Transport experience desirable • Fleet Management experience desirable • Experience in risk management and WHS an advantage
