Maintenance Garden Assistant (3329)

Your previous handyperson, tradie, and/or gardener experience will be highly regarded in this role, as you assist the maintenance team in this aged care home. This is a diverse role and tasks will include touch up painting, outdoor furniture upkeep, moving small items of furniture (tables & chairs), moving life engagement equipment (eg ping pong table), basic wheelchair repairs, removing cobwebs, assisting with set up for events & BBQs, planting & weeding, spreading wood mulch, and pruning.

Training/induction provided as well as access to online dementia training. You'll receive ongoing support and supervision from the volunteer coordinator. You'll also be required to complete the NDIS Quality, Safety and You online training module. The National Criminal Check and NDIS Screening checks are needed and will be organised and paid for by the organisation.
