IRT Group is one of Australia’s largest community-based seniors’ lifestyle and care providers. With 50 years’ experience and locations throughout NSW, the ACT and South East Queensland, we play a significant role in promoting seniors as dynamic, influential and valuable members of society.

IRT Dalmeny is seeking to appoint a team volunteers to provide practical assistance and emotional support for people with dementia and/or delirium in residential aged care.

About the opportunity: • Work within the team of aged care staff in supporting people with dementia and/or delirium. • Assist in the provision of a safe and secure environment and immediately report any concerns to the shift supervisor. • Communicate effectively with residents, visitors and the IRT team. • Provide administrative support, as required and ensure all documentation (including the attendance register) is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
