Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest’ looks like for them, we support to make it happen.

Len's* goal is to remain living independently despite his vision impairment, his interests are Aussie rules football, horse racing and going out for a drive. He is looking for a volunteer who likes similar interests and would be happy to take him out for a drive or out for coffee or lunch. Jim would like a weekly visit and is available morning or afternoons Monday-Friday.

If you hold a valid Australian driver’s license and have access to a car that you will be prepared to transport Len in during visits. Have practical communication skills and confidence to work independently. We would like to hear from you. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
