Moongala Women’s Community House in Bentleigh East is a not for profit, friendly community-based organisation, bringing people together and providing a range of courses and activities to the community.

In late 2022 we moved into our lovely, refurbished premises at Moorleigh Community Village.

We require a volunteer or volunteers to support our organisation with welcoming and greeting anyone who visits the House, including when required, helping with setting up and clearing away areas for activities and attending to morning & afternoon tea for some of our more senior participants. In addition, we require general administration, answering the telephone and event assistance. Computer experience would be an advantage.

Most importantly we are seeking someone with a friendly, happy personality with good communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn. Admin experience is preferable and the role could suit one person or a team of volunteers, sharing the tasks across the week. Hours required would range from 9.30am – 1pm and 12.30 – 3.30pm or 9.30 - 3.30 daily and if you are available for one session or more, we would love to hear from you!
