Skilled Report Writer or Skilled Grant Writer

Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP)

WFWP Australia is committed to support women, engage youth and environmental sustainability. We have several humanitarian projects within Australia and the Pacific Island nations of Oceania, enabling thousands of women to access educational opportunities and gain skills to better support their family and livelihood.

Within Australia, we do this through values education focused social impact activities that foster peace building, multi-culturalism and bringing diverse communities together.

The Report Writer role will give you the opportunity to:

  1. Work with a team to edit reports sent in from the WFWP Oceania and SE Asia Chapters, and prepare these for the WFWP Regional newsletter, Facebook posts and the WFWP Australia Annual Report and WFWP International activity reports.

The Grant Writer role will give you the opportunity to:

  1. Work with a team to write grants for WFWP Victoria’s ongoing Social Impact activities and programs.

The Regional Office receives reports from Oceania and SE Asia Chapters where English is their second language. As the report writer, you will need to build the story from such report submissions.

It is essential to have your own laptop, suitable software, and good internet access. You will be asked to work efficiently, professionally, diligently and follow through with tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications/ skills required:

Organised, friendly, a good listener, confident, enthusiastic, wanting to help and volunteer, ready for a challenge, good communication skills, and has initiative. Beneficial skills would be outreach and communication, confidence using IT software.
