As a volunteer in our Cardiff residential aged care home, you'll assist our Maintenance Team with a variety of tasks that could include;

• Touch up painting
• Outdoor furniture upkeep
• Planting and weeding in the garden
• Wood mulch distribution on garden beds
• Assisting to move small items of furniture such as tables and chairs
• Assisting to move life engagement equipment such as a ping pong table
• Assisting to set up for events and BBQs
• Wheelchair repair
• Trimming branches
• Removing Cobwebs

Ideally, you'll be available for 2-3 hours each week, for 12 months or longer.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents.

You'll be required to complete a criminal record check, NDIS Worker Screening check and provide proof of your current flu vaccination - or be willing to have the vaccination prior to starting.
