Our Dog Handlers give so much love to our dogs and spend as much time with them as possible, as this is their only human interaction. As a Dog Handler you will be able to exercise and care for our residents, ensuring mental stimulation and enrichment and helping them trust again. Seeing dogs who were previously shut down start doing zoomies around the yard with so much happiness is a sight to behold and certainly makes the less “glamorous” parts of the job worthwhile. It is all about their comfort and happiness and as a Dog Handler you will be ensuring their safety at all times and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the kennels. You’ll be part of a great team of like-minded, hardworking individuals who are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of our dogs.
