Bethanie, Western Australia’s leading not for profit aged care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for over 65 years. We strive to lead the change in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising ‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.

We are seeking friendly and caring volunteers who enjoy socialising with others. This volunteer role would see you engage our residents in conversations whist helping to maintain our lovely gardens.

At times, our residents may be eager to lend a helping hand. Our friendly staff will be there to guide and support you.

Duties may include maintaining garden beds, pruning, weeding, watering, raking and generally keeping the garden tidy and beautiful for the residents to enjoy.

Our volunteer gardeners are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine.
