Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support people to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love, in the Mornington Peninsula region. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest’ looks like for them, we help to make it happen.

Andrew describes himself as outgoing and community minded, however lately he has been feeling lonely and low. Andrew enjoys long walks exercising, reading, classical music, watching documentaries, soccer and AFL football. He is looking for an energetic volunteer who has similar interests to help him reconnect with the things he loves to do.

You'll need the ability to creatively reconnect Andrew with his interests and the neighbourhood whilst sharing home and community-based activities. You will have a valid driver’s license and your own car to transport Andrew in during visits. The skills and confidence to work independently are a must.

As a valued member of the Social Support Team, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey.
