Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) South is currently seeking volunteers to join their paddock maintenance team to clear away the manure, fallen branches, etc. on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays between 8am and 2pm (or part thereof).

If you are physically well and don’t mind a bit of harder work, it would be fantastic if you would consider a position on the paddock maintenance team. Volunteers doing paddock maintenance on a Tuesday and Thursday (and sometimes other days) clear paddocks, whilst the horses are out and being used in the program. This important task is crucial for horse welfare as well as it assists the Centre in vital donations for the sale of manure. And you are welcome to help yourself to free manure to take home for your garden!

Volunteers doing this work have the ability to start and finish when suits them within the set time-frame and don’t have to commit every week, however, regular assistance is appreciated due to the ongoing need.

Assisting with this task will give the volunteers the rewarding feeling that they contribute to a good cause and great charity organisation, assist with the horses’ health and wellbeing and help the Centre with their cash-flow as well, as the Centre is fully self-funded and relies heavily on donations and fundraising activities.

For expression of interest or any questions, please contact our State Coaching Coordinator.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
