This volunteer opportunity will help residents live life in all its fullness by engaging residents in a variety activities. The social interaction, mental stimulation and physical activity that stems from these activities provides valuable support to our residents.

Some of our exciting opportunities include:

*Activity Helper- a variety of roles available including assisting with bingo and carpet bowls

*Knitting Volunteer- join our Monday afternoon knitting group.

*Social Companionship- seeking volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to our Residents in our Dementia Wing.

*Walking companion- taking a stroll with one of our lovely residents (you will need to be physically able in this role as you may be required to push a wheelchair)

*Librarian- help manage our books and DVDs.

*Art Helper- we have a number of residents who are artists, help would be much appreciated in assisting our residents.

We welcome volunteers to share whatever your skills and passions and may be with our residents to help make their day.

Volunteers are treated as valued members of the Bethanie team.
