Citizen Advocacy is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government. Our aim is to provide advocacy support to vulnerable people with an intellectual disability by matching them with a member of the local community who becomes their friend and advocate.

If you have a few hours to spare and the desire to make a difference in someone’s life, we’d love to talk to you! We provide full training to prepare you for the role. Your own transport and a driving licence are usually required.

PLEASE NOTE: The nature of this role is not suitable for student placements or gaining work experience in the sector. We are unable to sign forms for Centrelink purposes.
