Whitehorse Emergency Relief and Support Inc. is a volunteer organisation that provides support to people in severe financial distress. Usually this is in the form of food and food vouchers but it can also be help paying bills and organising referrals. We are looking for someone aged over 50 who can commit to regular work with us. This position would suit a retired person in the local area who has experience in a related field such as nursing, teaching or social work. This is an opportunity to make a worthwhile contribution to the community and to work with other dedicated, like minded people. It is not suitable for a student seeking placement or someone looking for full time paid work in the short term.
