The Salvation Army AustraliaJob Description Purpose of the Role The role of a Community Driver is to provide safe and reliable transport for Brisbane Recovery Service Residential clients. The Community Driver enables clients to attend appointments and activities.
Time commitment – 8am - 8pm 7 days a week - negotiable with volunteer - you can do two hours or four hours or whatever time you can give.
A typical day will see you drive participants in our 12 seater buses to appointments and activities as scheduled each day.
The successful candidate will have;

Knowledge of Brisbane road system (preferable).

Good driving history and current applicable driver's licence (mandatory).

Ability to work withing the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
Training and integrity checks are a requirement of this role.
