Our Parkview lifestyle team are seeking an enthusiastic choir volunteer to assist with the set up and running of the Parkview Choir. The choir is made up of residents and staff who love to sing with the purpose of providing an informal and inclusive environment for everyone who chooses to attend. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and become part of a team. For our residents the choir improves concentration, memory and listening skills as well as providing them with a sense of belonging and overall wellbeing.

You can assist as a choir volunteer by:

• Assisting with the set up of chairs and resources required
• Escorting residents to and from the choir practice or performance
• Providing support and reassurance to residents as required
• Reporting any feedback through to the workplace supervisor
• Meeting new people and having fun!

Volunteers for this role are required on a fortnightly basis (Wednesday) between the hours of 12.30pm and 3.30pm (approx.).

This volunteering role is suitable for people who have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and display a calm and empathetic manner.
