Volunteering with HammondCare At Home in Lithgow is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have an impact on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with an elderly person. You may want to spend some time in the garden, go for a drive, or visit a local coffee shop.

If you have one hour to spare in your week (between Monday to Friday) and would like to improve an older person’s life by providing companionship in their home, we would love to hear from you.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. You'll also need to show proof of a current flu vaccination.
