The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Thursday Girls Group Inc.

Core Duties:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of fundraising strategies through campaigns and donor management
• Actively support the continuation of existing community partnerships and seek to form new relationships with community groups
• Create profiles of possible donors outlining their structure, goals, donor history and contact details
• Create Raisely and other online fundraising campaigns
• Find and create content for our website and Facebook sites
• Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events
• Work with Thursday Girls members and other volunteer staff members as part of a team
• Write speeches, press releases, or other promotional materials as needed to increase awareness of the mission, and goals of Thursday Girls
• Write reports or prepare presentations to communicate fundraising program data

Key skills:

• Experience in a relevant field
• Ability to work flexibly in a team with enthusiasm and commitment
• Understanding of, and sympathy with, the overall aims of the Thursday Girls

Time required: 5-7 hours per week, flexible Work from home, some face-to-face meetings
