We are looking for a volunteer who would be interested in helping us look after Snowflake, our 4 Voices Sydney outreach connection hub! 4 Voices is responding to the increase in social and digital isolation within our community by delivering an outreach service in various locations throughout Sydney. By volunteering with 4 Voices you will be supporting us to help people who are in desperate need of connection. 4 Voices are looking for someone prepared to commit to approximately 4 - 5 hours a week. The Vehicle Caretaker is the first point of contact for all vehicle related support in the region to maintain the vehicle within the standards established by 4 Voices. Snowflake is an automatic high roof, long wheel base van – however only a standard car driver’s license is needed for someone to drive her!! The key responsibilities of the role with 4 Voices:

• Keeping Snowflake clean and fit for duty which means: • Conducting checks to stock the van with essentials – • Topping her up with fuel as required • General upkeep of Snowflake, cleaning her inside and out weekly; • Ensuring Snowflake's batteries are charged and ready • Organising regular servicing of the van for repairs/maintenance • Building and maintaining relationships with drivers/team leaders; • Communicating updates and changes to outreach leader

The right candidate will have the time to keep Snowflake fit for duty at an outreach hub. Keeping her clean, fuelled, charged, equipment functional and her pantry stocked.
In order to be eligible for this volunteer position you must have an open car driver’s license and time to look after our precious Snowflake.
