This volunteer opportunity will help to make a meaningful difference by engaging with clients and contributing to the diversity of day to day activities

This volunteer opportunity will assist clients live life in all its fullness by engaging clients in a diverse range of activities. The social interaction, mental stimulation and physical activity that stems from these activities is a valuable part of our clients day and the care provided.

From arts and craft, to Knit & Knatter Group, Men's group, to playing games to singing or simply enjoying a cup of tea with a client; there is no limit to the unrealised opportunities to contribute using your own personal interests and hobbies.
We welcome volunteers to share, whatever your skills, passions and availability may be, with our clients to help make their day.

Ipswich Respite Centre provides a personal experience that's designed to give clients the opportunity to socialise, develop new skills and hobbies through a range of groups and one on one activities.

Our compassionate team strives to support clients independence by forging real relationships with clients as well as their families/friends. Health & happiness is the main aim whilst focusing on community well being.

Tasks involved include: ▪ Activity preparations and packing ▪ Interacting with clients participating in the activity

This is a great opportunity to:

Skills Required: ▪ A special talent or interest not essential.
▪ Though not mandatory, it is recommended that volunteers have a valid Flu vaccination (certificate/letter) Please note that it will take 2-4 weeks for checks to be completed before undertaking induction, orientation to commence in this role.
