Care Farm Animal Assistant
genUThe Care Farm at Costa House is open every day and available for all residents and visitors to enjoy. The Care Farm is home to a Shetland Pony, Sheep, Chickens, and Ducks. The animals provide a calm and therapeutic environment for our residents to appreciate.
Our Volunteer Care Farm Animal Assistants assist the Care Farm Supervisor, to maintain the health and well-being of our Care Farm animals and develop and maintain the Care Farm gardens at Costa House, in order to add to the Lifestyle and well-being of residents and visitors to the facility.
Volunteer shifts usually run in the morning and afternoon, Monday – Sunday. AM shifts are asked to be completed before 10am, and PM shifts before sundown.

Volunteers must also hold a current NDIS Check (or willing to obtain), Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain), Vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses), and undergo regular training as requested.
